1. A$AP Rocky - "Goldie (Explicit)" 2012  *This is the only A$AP song that I really like, even though it is about nothing. I'm not sure why I like it, it contains so many things that are truly ridiculous.

2. Berlin - "Metro" 1982  *Hats with side ponytails.

3. Maxi Priest - "Wild World" 1989  *They found a low-budget way to show how he travels the wild world.

4. Kendrick Lamar - "Backseat Freestyle" 2013  *It's kind of funny how he just stands there when the girl is bouncing her booty around. I love Kendrick but this has never been one of my favorite songs.

5. STS - "Dripping In Gold" 2013  *I don't like this song, I just wanted to put it on here because of the Separated At Birth thing that he has going with Nacho Picasso.

6. DJ Cam feat. Anggun - "Summer In Paris" 2001  *This song is a little to dancey for me.

7. Air - "Le Soleil Est Près De Moi" 1997  *This song is pretty great, however, I rarely listen to the album version. I LOVE the Dan The Automator version found on this album but not on YouTube.

Seven Music Videos featuring Slow Motion Scenes

1. DJ Cam - "Swim" 2011  *This video is entirely in slow motion. It is not my favorite DJ Cam song, but, he is still great.

2. Blackalicious - "Make You Feel That Way" 2002  *It is a go-to happy Hip Hop song. Plus, it is on the Brown Sugar Soundtrack which is full of gems.

3. Amy Winehouse - "Love Is A Losing Game" 2006  *I'm glad she left us with so many great songs to remember her by.

4. Flume - "More Than You Thought" 2013  *When I listened to this song, I found myself wondering if I was accidentally listening to dubstep. I hope not, because I have noticed that some of the most ridiculous people I have ever met, love dubstep. I felt that this song would be great when played on an incredibly loud soundsystem, which is why I posted it. I found this on the Pigeons and Planes website.

5. New Order - "Bizarre Love Triangle" 1986  *Trampolines and slo-mo.

6. Chance The Rapper feat. Ab-Soul - "Smoke Again" 2013  *He is the new hotness in the blog scene, it has been determined that he will go big (by Pigeons and Planes and music writers on Twitter). I won't be able to decide if I like him until I listen to his mixtape Acid Rain which can be downloaded at his website here. He does have an interesting flow and doesn't sound like one of those yelling, crazy, beats without soul rappers. I know a lot of people will love him.

7. Lin Que feat. MC Lyte - "Let It Fall" 1995  *I have no recollection of Lin Que at all. This song isn't really that good, but, I like seeing how the ladies do their thing.

Ten Great J Dilla Productions

1. Illa J - "All Good" 2008  *This is my new theme song. Illa J is J Dilla's brother. I even like the lyrics to this song which can be hard to come by in Hip Hop,

2. J Dilla feat. Illa J - "Won't Do" 2006  *This video is already in the moving clouds or fog category but no Dilla list would be complete without this song.

3. Jaylib - "The Red" 2003 *Jaylib is J Dilla and Madlib.

4. Slum Village - "Fall In Love" (Jay Dee Remix) 2000  *This is a ridiculously great song.

5. J Dilla - "Featuring Phat Kat" 2001  *This is one of those beats that you can't believe how great it is even when you are listening to it.

6. Spacek - "Eve" (Jay Dee Remix ft. Frank-n-Dank) 2000  *This song is whoa.

7. J Dilla - "Make'em NV" 2003  *Beat nasty face.

 

8. Jaylib feat. Talib Kweli - "Raw Shit" 2003  *They were a great team.

9. Heavy D feat. Q-Tip - "Listen" 1999  *Produced by J Dilla. YouTube credits are wrong and yet, the song is so right.

10. DJ Cam feat. Cameo - "Love Junkee" (J Dilla Remix) 2004  *Dj Cam and J Dilla in one song, one of those great moments in music.

Ten Great Songs Without Music Videos Part II

1. DJ Shadow - "What Does Your Soul Look Like [Part 3]) 1998  *This song starts off quiet and slow and builds into greatness.

2. Jehst - "England" 2011 (UK HIP HOP)  *In this song we are able to hear how underground British rappers are using their music to criticize their government.

3. RJD2 - "Ghostwriter" 2002  *It's the old hotness.

4. Blackalicious - "Swan Lake" 1994  *The song is worth waiting out the long intro.

5. DJ Cam - "Dieu Reconnaitra Les Siens" 1994  *I think this is one of those songs that sounds fresh every time.

6. Martina Topley-Bird - "Sandpaper Kisses" 2003  *This is the visuals for Portishead's "Only You" but with Martina Topley-Bird's audio.

7. Murs - "I Hate Your Boyfriend" 2000  *This song is hilarious and if you listen to it, you may learn a new way of hugging.

8. Mikky Ekko - "Pull Me Down (Emperor Remix)" 2012  *Another great remix found on the Pigeons and Planes website.

9. DJ Krush - "On The Dub-ble" 1994  *Another of my all-time favorites.

10. The Weeknd - "The Morning" 2011  *One of the songs that allowed me to see past the hype and actually appreciate The Weeknd.
