Ten Music Videos With Kissing

10 Kissing Music Videos Playlist is here.

1. Disclosure feat. Eliza Doolittle - "You And Me" (Flume Remix) 2014  I actually think they went a little overboard with the kissing on this one but the song is awesome. It was one of the many songs I knew I loved in the first 1 minute and 4 seconds. My intro to Disclosure was "White Noise" featuring AlunaGeorge and I've been on board ever since. For Flume, the song that caught me was "Left Alone" featuring Chet Faker.

2. Bjork - "Mutual Core" 2012   Bjork is Queen of the Keep Iceland Weird committee in the best possible way. The almost unlistenable song and creepy visuals in this single from her Biophilia album make it an all around uncomfortable video to watch. Don't get me wrong, I have loved Bjork since before I Mod Podged the Post album art on my journal in 1995; but, her new music is a little hard to digest. A+ for effort and for staying true to her inner weirdo.

3. The Weeknd - "Often" 2014  Even though all of The Weeknd songs sound the same to me, there are only 3 songs that I have overplayed as of yet. "Can't Feel My Face," "The Zone," and "The Morning." He's just meh to me in general, but I would love to see other artists work as hard as he has for a sustainable music career.

4. Shura - "Touch" 2014  Love the song but the video makes me feel like a Peeping Tom. Shura has a Shuraverse on her website that is so high tech that it doesn't load half the time. Have yet to find any other Shura songs that I like.

The final product of Talib Kweli's remix is pretty weak. It feels like a concocted label collaboration to me, but maybe Kweli simply liked the song as much as I did?

5. BADBADNOTGOOD + Ghostface Killah feat. DOOM - "Ray Gun" 2015  This is a truly epic trio of artists. Masks, robots, spaceships, subtitles, cars, fur, birds, special effects, food, lasers, cops; this video has everything. I love that Left Brain is the lead actor in this; he doesn't tip his bartenders though so he'll never be that classy.

6. Odesza feat Zyra - "Say My Name" 2014  I'm down with Odesza but I have yet to feel the urge to spend time with their music. The duo met at WWU and quickly made Bellingham, WA a new hub of the Electronic music scene. Pretty sweet trick actually.

7. Prof - "Motel" 2015  Best dimples, promo, and socks in the game. He's been working his ass off under the guise of almost constant shenanigans for over a decade. With the priceless backing of Rhymesayers, he's making a huge mark on the music community.

My former ReignCity team had the pleasure of hosting Prof's "Liability Tour" at Nectar Lounge November 17, 2015 with Nacho Picasso and Slow Dance. Here's a few of the photos I found on my phone the next day.

8. The Flavr Blue - "Hearts Racing" 2014  SEATTLE MUSIC  All three members of The Flavr Blue are pushing themselves to be the best humans they can be. Mad respect to Hollis, Parker, and Lace for their commitment to their craft and for being all around awesome people.

9.  Snakehips feat. Tinashe + Chance The Rapper - "All My Friends" 2015  We never actually see what these people are waiting in line for which is actually perfect for the song. This video for my first exposure to Snakehips would have been perfect in the short Rotating Cameras list. I've listened to this song too much but I'm coo with it.

10. Kwamie Liv - "Higher" 2015  This video documents the course of a relationship, The Cure's Wild Mood Swings album did that too. I first heard Kwamie Liv in the single "5 AM" a few years back but haven't seen her in Seattle yet.

Ten Music Videos With Power Jewelry

1. NxWorries (Anderson.Paak + Knxwledge) - "Suede" 2015  STONES THROW Anderson.Paak's septum piercing is the power jewelry but Folerio's tiny dog counts as a power accessory as well. I was down with Anderson.Paak before I heard this song but have now purchased my ticket to ride the "Suede" train. His Malibu album is the best full album I've heard in a very long time; thank you Anderson.Paak!

2. THEESatisfaction - "Recognition" 2015  THEESatisfaction have transcended the label Seattle Music and have moved into the Black Constellation. Mad recognition goes out to the ladies of Sub Pop for this project. Cat AKA SassyBlack is one of my three favorite people to follow on social media. Russell Simmons, Dam Funk, and SassyBlack are all about spreading the love and good energy. I fux with that hardcore.

3. Wati Heru X Kashaka - "New Blue Hunnids" 2015  All this Black light business is glowing power jewelry. It reminds me of the video for Kyla La Grange's "Cut Your Teeth." The beat is fire, the video is awesome, the lyrics are sus.

4. Heltah Skeltah - "Operation Lockdown" 1996  Shoutout to Wusaeng for scream-rapping Heltah Skeltah to me so I could fall in love with the Nocturnal album two decades late. The verse starting at 1:32 sounds almost exactly like Specs Wizard; trips me out every time.

5. Dynas + Tony Galvin feat. Slick Rick - "Who U" 2015  Slick Rick's signature eye patch, gold teeth, and chains make for an instantly recognizable animated character even without eyes or a nose. I wonder if there's already a Know Your Rap Chains quiz or app. Somebody jump on that.

6. SBTRKT feat. Roses Gabor - "Pharoahs" 2011  I actually think that this is the weakest song on his classic self-titled album...that just proves how rad the album is.

7. Diva - "Divinity" 2015  STONES THROW Her finger thingies are very much power jewelry but it'd be really hard to eat a sandwich with them on. Sacrificing lunch for fashion is a no go for me. Props to Diva for letting her inner weirdo shine.

8. Aku-Matu feat. The Lox - "An Ancestor From The Future" 2013  This lady is dope. Crazy that someone from the future has already contacted us via YouTube and there's not even 2016 views.

9. Lee Scott - "Butter Fly" 2015 (Produced by Dirty Dike) (UK HIP HOP)  I love that UK hard means baseball bats instead of guns. High Focus Records has quite a few artists on their roster but not all of them are that tight. I'm borderline disgusted and in awe of Dirty Dike; his "10 Dike Commandments" and "Pork Pie" had me hooked.

10. Kwamie Liv - "Lost In The Girl" 2016  I'm down with Kwamie Liv, she coo. Almost began another balloon list when I saw this. This song is aight but "5AM" and "Follow You" continue to be my favorites.

Ten More Music Videos with Bicycles

Here's all the bicycle music videos I've found so far on a YouTube playlist. #YouTubeNchill

1. Flume and Chet Faker - "Drop The Game" 2013  *A few bicycle cameos in a video that is all about the dance moves.

2. Duke Westlake feat. VerBS - "Geyser" 2013  *This bicycle has a starring role in the video, with close-ups and everything; courtesy of Mello Music Group.

3. Latyrx feat. Forrest Day - "Exclamation Point" 2013  *I hereby resolve to stop overusing exclamation points.

4. Isaiah Rashad feat. SZA - "Ronnie Drake" 2013  *One of my favorite things about SZA is that she is not afraid of getting dirty. She's playing with a pile of leaves in this video and can be seen wading in a dirty pond after putting her white sweater in the dirt on Ten Music Videos featuring Reflections.

5. KMD - "Peachfuzz" 1990  *MF Doom's first crew has been down with bikes since 1990.

6. Rocky Rivera - "Ain't No Way" 2014  *This video also has skateboards, playgrounds, bubbles, and dogs.

7. Dag Savage feat. Blu - "Don't Stop" 2014  *Synchronized dance routine for the win.

8. Kwamie Liv - "Follow You" 2014  *It's a blink and miss it bicycle, at 0:45. She is from Copenhagen, Denmark and she is awesome.

9. Mick Jenkins - "Jazz" 2014  *He gives some great advice in the first line of this song. Mick Jenkins is opening up for Method Man and Redman (cue giddy squeals) at The Showbox on November 3. Bonus points for having balloons.

10. Fences feat. Macklemore + Ryan Lewis - "Arrows" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) *This is a truly amazing music video. It has a double bicycle as well as a tiger, some Wes Anderson shit on a train, a bunch of taxidermied (not a real word) animals and a ladder.

*The first installment of Ten Music Videos with Bicycles can be found here. It has LL Cool J, DJ Shadow, En Vogue, J Dilla, Naughty By Nature and five more.
