1. Divine Scienze feat. Sene, Blu, and Britain Parker - "Happiness Is" 2013 *Courtesy of 2dopeboyz. They have so much music on their blog that it surprises me when I find something I like, the beat that got me starts @ 0:32. In this video, Blu shows us that it is possible to eat In 'n Out Burger and rap (or pretend to rap) at the same time.
3. Jeremiah Jae - "$easons" 2011 *Don't worry, the scary Aphex Twin-like face doesn't actually show up until the end.
4. Nas feat. Amy Winehouse - "Cherry Wine" 2012 *Smoke machines and projectors are the new hotness.
5. Iyeoka - "Simply Falling" 2011 *This was my first exposure to Iyeoka, she coo.
6. Main Source - "Fakin' The Funk" 1992 *From the White Men Can't Jump Soundtrack.
7. Justin Timberlake - "Tunnel Vision" 2013 *There seems to be an excessive number of mostly naked chicks in this video, likely to ensure that guys like to watch his videos too.
1. The Human League - "Human" 1986 *Slow motion splashes are rad.
2. James Blake - "Limit To Your Love" 2010 *When played on the right stereo, the bass in this song would definitely make water react in this manner. I get to see James Blake for the first time on April 23 at the Neptune Theater, it will be amazing.
3. Justin Timberlake feat. Jay-Z - "Suit and Tie" 2013 *I don't love this song but I do like Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z. The big water scene is towards the end. Sometimes I don't like songs that millions of other people like because of my not-so-secret desire to like different stuff than the masses.
4. Adele - "Rolling In The Deep" 2010 *The mainstream got this one right. I feel like the water in this video is one of its best attributes.
5. Ralph Tresvant - "Sensitivity" 1990 *There was a lot of filming people who were standing behind falling streams of water in the late eighties and early nineties.
6. Bell Biv DeVoe - "Do Me (Remix)" 1990 *I definitely prefer the album version, but a classic nonetheless.
7. De La Soul feat. Chaka Khan - "All Good?" 2000 *A car wash video like this one would be lacking without water. Chaka Khan still pairs so nicely with Hip Hop.
8. Porno For Pyros - "Tahitian Moon" 1996 *I liked two Porno For Pyros songs, this one and "Pets".
9. RZA aka Bobby Digital - "La Rhumba" 2001 *I think this crazy rap party is supposed to be going on inside the red bottle. I don't believe that for a second.
10. Sade - "Sweetest Taboo" 1985 *At the beginning of this video, it looks like Sade gets pissed when she sees this guy litter. Sade says, "littering is not sexy" with her eyes.
