Ten Music Videos featuring Skateboards

20 Skateboarding Music Videos YouTube Playlist is here.

1. Lupe Fiasco feat. Jill Scott - "Daydreamin'" 2006  *This is the only Lupe Fiasco song that I like.

2. Mayer Hawthorne - "Maybe So Maybe No" 2009  *Stephen King said this about Mayer Hawthorne's second album (this song is from his first album A Strange Arrangement):

I was first led to Hawthorne's blue-eyed soul by the bouncy tune "Your Easy Lovin' Ain't Pleasin' Nothin' " from A Strange Arrangement (catch the yummy video on YouTube). Is his stuff derivative? Sure, but anyone who can channel Barry White, the Five Stairsteps, and Curtis Mayfield with such perfection is close to, well… can you say "genius"? "  -from www.StephenKing.pl

3. Young MC - "Bust A Move" 1989  *This video has a pouty dancing girl, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the actor Max Perlich (on far right) who can be seen here Tony Hawk (second from left) and Christian Slater (center).

4. Air - "All I Need" 1998  *I'm pretty sure I had that same daybed when I was 13.

5. Lana Del Rey - "Video Games" 2011  *I don't really care what others may think of her, I think this song is beautiful.

6. Childish Gambino - "Fire Fly" 2012  *This song is pretty close to cheesy but still pretty good.

7. Mayer Hawthorne - "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" 2010  *The slow-motion skating is perfect for this song.

8. The Knife - "Heartbeats" 2003  *Great song with a great video. I feel like this is a band that people who work at music stores listen to.

9. Outkast - "Elevators (Me And You)" 1996  *This is from my favorite Outkast album.

10. Massive Attack - "Unfinished Sympathy" 1991  *I will go to Bristol. Classic music staples and new favorites all coming from the same area. It will happen.

Ten Music Videos featuring Helicopters

My collection of Helicopter Music Videos can also be found via YouTube playlist. #YouTubeNchill

1. Flying Lotus - "Until The Quiet Comes" 2012  * At 2:03 the song gets amazing, Flying Lotus and the filmmaker Kahlil Joseph are geniuses.

2. RUN-DMC - "It's Tricky" 1986  *They have a RUN-DMC helicopter; ballin.

3. Cold War Kids - "Hang Me Up To Dry" 2007  *This is one of the three Cold War Kids songs that I like.

4. Nelly Furtado - "Say It Right" 2006  *Sometimes, I need to remind myself that it is okay to like pop songs. She has her name on the helicopter and on the landing pad, straight ballin'.

5. 2Pac and Dr. Dre - "California Love" 1995  *2Pac and Dre get all Mad Max in this video.

6. Sade - "Cherish The Day" 1992  *When Sade is on a rooftop, it is easier to see her superpowers. She doesn't age, is always relaxed, makes great music, and she isn't afraid of heights.

7. The Fugees - "Ready Or Not" 1996  *This video is a mega-production.

8. New Order - "Blue Monday" 1983  *This song was covered by so many bands because it is fabulous.

9. Quelle Chris feat. Tanya Morgan, Fresh Daily, and Cavalier - "Greene Eyes" 2013  *The upside-down singing is a classic, but, isn't normally in music videos. This song is just alright, I think it would be better if the instrumental was more than just loops. The variations in the beat that do appear are the most interesting part of the song. At just under five minutes, the song feels too long because it gets boring. I feel like this guy is onto something and that he will get there soon.

10. Dr. Octagon - "Trees" 2006  *Kool Keith is on board to help us save the trees with his public service announcement music video.

Ten Music Videos With White Backgrounds

Full YouTube playlist of ALL the White Background Music Videos I've found so far.

1. Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu - "Q.U.E.E.N." 2013  *These ladies are true queens.

2. Grimes - "Vanessa" 2011  *Even though this video is kind of frightening, I think this song is amazing.

3. Johnny Hates Jazz - "Shattered Dreams" 1988  *Semi-solid eighties song.

In the UK, they got a full color version of the video.

4. Brandy feat. MC Lyte, YoYo, and Queen Latifah - "I Wanna Be Down (Remix)" 1994  *Powerful nineties women united to remind me that I prefer the original.

5. Salt 'N Pepa - "Shake Your Thang" 1988  *Contains rad eighties dancing.

6. Diverse feat. Lyrics Born and RJD2 - "Explosive" 2003  *I had never seen this video before today. Even though Lyrics Born and RJD2 were both making great music at the time this song came out, this song is not that great. This video contains ping pong.

7. Craig Mack feat. Notorious B.I.G., Mack, Rampage, LL Cool J, and Busta Rhymes - "Flava In Ya Ear (Remix)" 1994  *This is one of those good remixes.

8. Bahamadia - "Commonwealth (Cheap Chicks)" 2000  *This is from the BB Queen EP, which is fabulous.

9. Stacey Q - "Two Of Hearts" 1986  *This song is pretty amazing.

10. Little Dragon - "Never Never" 2010  *I love this band.

Ten Music Videos featuring Trees

1. James Blake - "Overgrown" 2013  *James Blake at the Neptune Theater was the best concert I have ever seen. He is a true genius.

2. The Beatles - "Strawberry Fields Forever" 1967  *This video was way ahead of its time.

3. DTMD feat. Godly MC and Kev Brown - "Raw"  2012  *This song is all about the beat for me, it is one of the better releases from the Mello Music Group.

4. Little Dragon - "Twice" 2007  *This is a very slow moving song, I feel like it never gets to where it is trying to go. Little Dragon definitely improved since 2007.

5. Bonobo feat. Andreya Triana - "Eyesdown" 2010  *This dancing girl has a skull on her skull.  The song is great too.

6. Split Prophets (Blanka, Paro, Datkid, feat. Dee Green and DJ Rogue) - "The High Life" 2013 (UK HIP HOP)  *I watched this video a lot to figure out if I liked it, this leads me to believe that it is interesting even though the rappers aren't that good.

7. The Black Opera feat. Mayer Hawthorne - "Queen Of Hearts" 2013  *This song needs work, I feel like they tried to distract us from the poor quality by showing us a bearded Mayer Hawthorne.

8. Cutta Chase - "Meditate and Maintain" 2013 (UK HIP HOP)  *This doesn't suck, but, it's really not that great either.

9. Quelle Chris - "Milky" 2012  *This instrumental is pretty interesting, but still needs something. I rarely contemplate what songs are actually about until I find myself singing them aloud. I will likely never listen to this enough to figure out why he decided to call the track "Milky".

10. Bonobo feat. Grey Reverend - "First Fires" 2013  *This is definitely not a party jam, one must be in a Bonobo kind of mood to enjoy this music.

Ten Music Videos featuring Maps, Globes or Earth

1. Kid Koala - "8 Bit Blues (Chicago to LA to NY)" 2012  *Kid Koala went all out on the tour for this album, they even had puppets. This cd came with a folding paper turntable that was intended to actually work, it might, I just never folded it.

2. Azealia Banks - "1991" 2012  *This is what I was hoping all of her music would sound like, not all of it is this good. This is my second favorite of her songs, "212" is still my favorite.

3. Crowded House - "Don't Dream It's Over" 1986  *This is a Where's Waldo style globe. Many dishes were harmed in the making of this video.

4. Snap - "Rhythm Is A Dancer" 1992  *This song puts us back into cassette single territory.

5. Anika - "Yang Yang" 2010  *I don't like this song that much, but, the video is interesting and I can't hate on someone for making music; unless it really sucks of course. She may be the only lady on Stones Throw Records.

6. The Notorious B.I.G. feat Puff Daddy and Mase - "Mo Money Mo Problems" 1997  *Now that they have mo money, they have to start worrying about their golf game.

7. R.E.M. - "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" 1987  *Now I know that the end of your world is where all the good stuff happens.

8. Beastie Boys - "Intergalactic" 1998  *This video was a mega-production.

9. A Tribe Called Quest - "Find A Way" 1998  *Produced by J Dilla (that means it's good). Q-Tip shows us how to do the rapper walk.

10. Slum Village feat. Kanye West and John Legend - "Selfish" 2004  *This video is about auditioning video girls. This is from when Slum Village consisted only T3 and Elzhi.
