Ten Reasons Why Rhymesayers Kick Ass

1. Step Brothers (Alchemist + Evidence) - "Step Masters" 2013  This is one of my favorite music videos of all-time and as you can see, I watch a lot of them. It's great to see how much fun Alchemist and Evidence had while making this video. How could you not like them?

2. Prof Signs To Rhymesayers 2013  They announced the signing of Prof with a video that showcases why he is worth paying attention to. I would love to inspire artists to make more promotional videos like this because if you don't go all in, you'll never get to step out of a plane like this.

3. Brother Ali feat. Bambu + Mally - "Home Away From Home" 2014  Brother Ali's tour was kicked off with a video made in the bus at the start of their adventure. My team at ReignCity hosted them at The Crocodile in Seattle and Bellingham's Wild Buffalo. Rhymesayers knows how to help you help them, this video is great proof of that.

4. Grieves - "Fifth Element In-Store Recap" 2012  This video shows how well Rhymesayers artists treat their fans. Grieves and his team always kill it with the social media and are truly great people. The Winter & The Wolves tour made for another great ReignCity show in 2014.

5. Evidence - "You" 2011  If Evidence is on your team, you know you have something good going.

6. "Go Hands On with Lord Steppington! 2013" The Lord Steppington vinyl and CD have a fuzzy cover. You can't caress an mp3 while listening to it. I love that it had a big poster inside, extras like that are what make people want to buy physical copies. Vinyl with download cards included are perfect. No one should ever play a show without merch; if you make it, they will buy. Making a video about the quality of your merch is pro-style. There is still a huge lack of high quality women's clothing in the merch department. Don't you want the ladies wearing your name on their chest to look good?

7. Dilated Peoples - "Show Me The Way" 2014 (Produced by Jake One)  This is one of my two most overplayed songs of the summer. Dilated Peoples had been on Capitol Records but released Directors Of Photography on Rhymesayers earlier this year.

8. Hail Mary Mallon - Behind The ... A Three Part Series 2014  They truly made the release of Hail Mary Mallon's Bestiary album an event by helping us get to know the artists and their creative process. My team at ReignCity and I get to host them January 23 at The Wild Buffalo in Bellingham with Homeboy Sandman, Darktime Sunshine, and DJ Abilities on January 23.

9. Dilated Peoples - 3 Part Promo Video for Directors Of Photography 2014  We already know and love Dilated Peoples and they still made a three part video to help us remember why they are on top of the game. If you tell people your story and you're making music that is unique and high quality, people will want to pay attention to you.

10. Atmosphere - "God Loves Ugly" 2002  The newer artists on Rhymesayers get the priceless guidance of the seasoned veterans Slug and Ant, who have been successful musicians and entrepreneurs since 1989 and are showing no signs of a slowdown. They founded Rhymesayers in 1995 with the help of Musab Saad and Brent Sayers (Siddiq) and have turned it into one of the best Hip Hop labels in the world. Almost twenty years later, they remain to be chart topping artists. Their chart-topping Southsiders album brought them to Seattle for another great ReignCity hosted show.

Ten Music Videos All About The Dance Moves

1. Flying Lotus - "Parisian Goldfish/Dance Floor Dale" 2014  This video would also qualify for the green screen compilation alongside 3rd Bass, The Streets, M.I.A., Monie Love and six more..

2. FKA Twigs - "Wet Wipez" 2014  FKA Twigs is definitely interesting and unique but her music is kind of boring...which may be why she needs to have such rad music videos.

3. Paul White - "Where You Gonna Go?" 2014  I would probably like this song more if he was head nodding instead of head dancing, there's a huge difference.

4. Mr. T. - "Treat Your Mother Right" 1984  Mr. T's makes his stance on yo mama jokes in this PSA of sorts.

5. Diogenes - "Drunken Mastery" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC)  All hail Filthy Fingers United. This song appeared on their At The Drive-In compilation from August 2014.

6. Les Sins - "Bother" 2014  Les Sins is a Toro Y Moi side project. If you watch this old Band Crush video from 2010 you too will love Toro Y Moi.

7. Adam Grabowski + Mike Ditka - "The Grabowski Shuffle" 1986  It's hard to know what to think about this one.

8. Reggie Watts - "Sunshine" 2014  I would love to see someone walking down the street like this.

9. Tuxedo - "Do It" 2014  Tuxedo was a mysterious group of the Clutchy Hopkins variety. They have come out of hiding and announced that Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One are the genius behind the project.

10. Blood Orange - "It Is What It Is" 2014  This is a long Gap commercial.

Ten More Mask Videos

1. Grape God - "Lufa Igno" 2013 (Portland)  This is my first Grape God experience, it will not be the last.

2. Homeboy Sandman - "Problems" 2014  He has good problems. Homeboy Sandman is going out on tour with Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock + Rob Sonic), Darktime Sunshine, and DJ Abilities. Much respect to the person who put together this lineup. My team at ReignCity is hosting their show in Bellingham at The Wild Buffalo on January 23.

3. Pete Rock feat. Inspectah Deck + Kurupt  "True Master" 1998  Rappers in race cars.

4. BADBADNOTGOOD - "Electric Relaxation" 2011  This A Tribe Called Quest cover reminds me of Foscil.

5. L'Orange feat. Blu - "Need You" 2014  Post-apocalyptic lovers in search of a cuddle spot.

6. denitia and sene - "runnin." 2014  All lower case names are way better than ALL CAPS names. "All Caps" is an exception to the rule. They are an electro-pop duo from Brooklyn.

7. Jared Evan + Statik Selektah - "Scene" 2014  He seems like he coulda been a Backstreet Boy, it's a pretty good song anyway.

8. The Black Opera feat. Georgia Anne Muldrow - "Beginning Of The End" 2014  The reflections in his glasses remind me of "Wonderwall."

9. Bishop Nehru - "Fickle Mind$" 2013  This dude is killin it. He just released NehruvianDOOM, his project with MF DOOM, at the age of 18. I'm on a mission to bring him to Seattle.

10. Seinabo Sey - "Pistols At Dawn" 2014  This rad Swedish lady only releases great songs, she has three so far. The other two videos are in lists still under construction.

The first Ten Music Videos with Masks compilation has SBTRKT, Madvillain, Janet Jackson, Crystal Waters, Das Racist, Butts, Ninjasonik, Arcade Fire, JJ Doom, and Camp Lo.

The second installment, Four More Mask Videos, has only four because I loved the songs so much, I just had to publish it right away. It has Midnight Davis, Earl Sweatshirt, Kate Bush, AlunaGeorge, and a special appearance by Chromatics.

Ten Music Videos with Bubbles

HERE is a YouTube playlist of all 10 videos with bubbles.

1. TLC - "Hat 2 Da Back" 1992  This song is timeless, the Kris Kross cameo makes it more obviously 1992. RIP Left Eye and Chris Kelly.

2. Tony Cook feat. Dam Funk - "What's On Your Mind?" 2012  I like the bubble that says "This Song Is Bangin!" I should make one for my apartment. This video could have been in the Partially Animated category alongside Jaylib, Paula Abdul, Homeboy Sandman, Gorillaz, and six more.

3. Arctic Monkeys - "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High" 2013  I don't really love this, but I don't hate it. This is the first time I've felt anything for an Arctic Monkeys song.

4. Hopie feat. Moe Green - "String Em Up" 2012  I kinda love this. Hopie appeared on my site before in her video for "Space Case" with Del The Funky Homosapien in the Spacesuit category.

5. Kyla La Grange - "Cut Your Teeth" 2014  *All the black light business kinda cheapens and distracts you from the greatness of the song.

6. Boys Don't Cry - "I Wanna Be A Cowboy" 1986  I think this one gets the Best Use Of A Bubble award.

7. Ibeyi - "River" 2014  *Props to them for having the most difficult to film video concept. The Queens of Underwater Scenes.

8. Hail Mary Mallon - (Aesop Rock + Rob Sonic) - "Jonathan" 2014  This one's all about DJ Zone, the "Card Magician." I couldn't be more stoked for our (ReignCity) Hail Mary Mallon show in Bellingham on January 23 with Homeboy Sandman.

9. Ekkah - "Last Chance To Dance" 2014  Couldn't decide if I hated it or loved it, which just made me listen to it more to figure it out.  I decided I love it. They have a skull disco ball and everything.

10. TLC - "What About Your Friends" 1992  They were big on thought bubbles in the Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip era. I was Left Eye for Halloween this year.

Ten Music Videos with Product Placement

1. DJ Shadow + Cut Chemist - "Product Placement" 2001  *These two the kings of Product Placement. Like their Brainfreeze album, Product Placement is a mix of all 45s, this one is made up of old commercials and jingles.

2. Zuke Saga x J'Von - "Meltdpzza" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) These guys amaze me and not just because they burned McDonald's products in their video.

3. The Rolling Stones - "Waiting On A Friend" 1981  I love that this video exists, there's a Miller Lite in it...and some tight white pants. This is from an era when they were still cool.

4. Got A Girl - "Did We Live Too Fast" 2014  This video from the Dan The Automator side project, Got A Girl, has ads for third eye surgery. It's perfectly weird, kind of reminds me (in the best way) of his album with Lovage, Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By.

5. OCnotes - "Fish + Chips" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) OCnotes with the Proctor Silex Toaster, the Mystery Coke machine, Pike Place Market, and a magic microwave.

6. Prof - "Gampo" 2012  In this video for my favorite Prof song, he pays tribute to Jameson and PBR. There's also a miniature giraffe and some chocolates.

7. Def Dee - "C'mon Now" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC)  This video is like a commercial for Seattle and it has a Coca Cola machine at the beginning.

8. SZA - "Julia/(Tender)" 2014  Wishing that SZA hadn't played in Seattle the same night as Mos Def and DJ Shadow + Cut Chemist. I made a great choice with Shadow and Cut Chemist's Renegades Of Rhythm Tour but I would have loved to have seen SZA. Due to the Beats headphones in the sand, this may actually be a really good commercial.

10. Quasimoto - "Catchin' The Vibe" 2014  This has cans of Karhu (a Finnish beer) as product placement. Plus this dude is slanging his product from a shopping cart. All hail Lord Quas. I would love to see Madlib back in Seattle someday soon, maybe the Madvillainy 2 tour?

Ten Great Songs From The Depths Of My Soundcloud Account

Props to Soundcloud and all they have done for the music community so far. I couldn't just let these songs lie dormant, I had to share them. For a good time follow 206liz on Soundcloud (me). The Soundcloud app is one of my all time favorite inventions.

1. Bipolar Sunshine feat Goldlink - "Future Part 1" 2014  The beat drop at 51 seconds is what dreams are made of. I think I found this by following Oakland's Hot Record Société.

2. King Ara - "Who The Fuck You Talkin' To?" 2013  It amazes me that this song never blew up, which is pretty much how I feel about every song on this list. This is the only song on his Soundcloud account so far.

3. Reva DeVito - "Friday Night" 2014 (Produced by Kaytranada)  If I was into Fridays and all that it represents to 9-5ers, I would play this song on Fridays. Instead, I get to listen to it whenever.

4. Porter Ray - "Blackcherry" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) New Sub Pop signee and Ish protege Porter Ray is poised for greatness. I actually listened to the entire Fundamentals album repeatedly, it's that good.

5. De La Soul - "Dilla Plugged In" 2014  (Produced by J Dilla)  I would have loved to see a tour for this album.

6. BJ The Chicago Kid + Add-2 - "15 Minutes Of Fame" 2014  (Produced by 9th Wonder)  Instant classic status.

7. Daughter - "Youth (BUDO Remix)" 2014  Budo is one of those producers who can make a great song even better.

8. MED, Blu, Mayer Hawthorne, + Madlib - "The Buzz" 2013  I'm still working on becoming the Peanut Butter Wolf of Seattle so that I can help make songs like this happen. I may fangirl out a little when it comes to my love for Stones Throw.

9. Maryam Saleh - "Nouh Al Hamam" 2013  (Produced by Oddisee)  Multi-genre music fusion is the best, especially when it's for a great cause. For more info about this project, check out the album on Bandcamp.

10. EarDr.Umz - "Live @ Stop Biting 7.8.14" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) I could listen to this on repeat for hours, actually I already have.

Ten Music Videos featuring Destruction

1. R.A. The Rugged Man feat. Talib Kweli - "Learn Truth" 2013  *This video also has American Flags, Old Footage, Shopping Carts, Blood, and a bunch of ugly things that are part of our history.

2. Drake feat Majid Jordan - "Hold On, We're Going Home" 2013  This intro is way too long and boring, skip to 2:30 for the music. I'm sure they were going for the short film thing, but I don't know why they needed to choke a bitch.

3. Deltron 3030 feat. Zack De La Rocha - "Melding Of The Minds" 2013  *Deltron 3030 is coming back to The Showbox on November 5 for another great ReignCity show.

4. Phosphorescent - "Song For Zula" 2013  *This video raises a lot of questions that I don't care enough about to find the answer to like: why is this person hitting the chain in such a non-helpful spot? Was this filmed in an empty zoo cage? Why am I watching a Phosphorescent video?

5. Woodkid - "Iron" 2011  *Slo-mo dog drool for the win.

6. Aloe Blacc - "Love Is The Answer" 2014  *Destruction of a young man's prospects.

7. Mobb Deep feat. Big Noyd and Rakim - "Hoodlum" 1997  *This is the title track from the Hoodlum Soundtrack...and it's awesome.

8. deM atlaS - "Lucille" 2014  *One of the newest Rhymesayers artists and a chick who is into jerky hair dancing (respect).

9. Akouo - "Last Time" 2014  *The Tasmanian producer Akouo likes breaking stuff.

10. J.Bre feat. Luck One + Grynch - "Memories" 2011 (SEATTLE MUSIC)  *This is a great video for playing Spot The Seattle Artist.

Ten Music Videos featuring Bears

1. Black Milk - "Sunday's Best/Monday's Worst" 2013  Out of the ten, this is my favorite.

2. 50 Cent feat. Kendrick Lamar - "We Up" 2013  Not surprisingly, Kendrick's verse is the best part of the song. For me, 50 is kind of over. The 2003 "In Da Club" video was so fitting (pun intended) and memorable but this is just meh. I'm sure millions of people still like him, so I don't have to.

3. Lily Allen - "The Fear" 2008  British pop stars are so much classier than ours.

4. Macy Gray - "Do Something" 1999  It's good advice.

5. Bon Iver - "Calgary" 2011  Still love Bon Iver, no shame.

6. Ryan Hemsworth feat Lofty305 - "Against A Wall" 2013  There are bobble-boobs in this video, you'll see. I respect Ryan Hemsworth for getting himself out there, I just prefer to listen to something else.

7. Childish Gambino - "3005" 2013  When rappers have a bear, it's gets all Kanye pretty quick.

8. The 2 Bears - "Be Strong" 2010  The video is just so weird that I had to post even though the song is a little too...something.

9. Fearless Four - "Problems Of The World Today" 1983  "What if we got matching but not quite matching black and red jumpsuits? We'll look cool as hell." -fake internet quote

10. Kanye West - "Good Morning" 2007  Dropout Bear has his own Wikifur page. I didn't even know Wikifur was a thing.

Ten More Music Videos with Slow Motion Scenes

1. Kaytranada - "Holy Hole Inna Donut" 2013  Kaytranada will be performing at Decibel Festival's Resident Advisor Showcase on September 24 on the third floor of the EMP Museum. I'm pretty sure his live show isn't this sporty, but I will be sure to let you know.

2. FKA x inc. - "FKA x inc." 2014  She is a total badass. Still can't decide on the FKA Twigs vs. Flying Lotus + Thundercat dilemma on November 18 in Seattle.

3. Sylvan Esso - "Coffee" 2014  I love this song but I still cringe a little when he says "my baby does the hanky panky."

4. How To Dress Well - "And It Was You" 2012  I'm pretty sure this video is about people worshipping a guy who rides a segway?

5. Ella Eyre - "Deeper" 2013  Slow motion dance scenes with fans.

6. Fractures - "Twisted" 2013  (Australia) These guys make great songs, but, they're all total downers.

7. Majid Jordan - "A Place Like This" 2014  This lady keeps getting run into like the chick in Dr. Dre + Snoop Dogg's "Nothin' But A G Thing" (at 3:30), Dre did it better. This guy sounds like he wants to be all Weeknd-y.

8. Phantogram - "When I'm Small" 2011  This is an example of how hair tossing can be a dance move.

9. Method Man + Redman - "Y.O.U." 1999  So excited for our Method Man + Redman show at The Showbox on November 3.

10. Atmosphere - "Bitter" 2014  Slow-motion snowball fights are some Minnesota shit? Props to Atmosphere for being on top of their game.

The beginning of this Atmosphere song reminds me of "Fuck Regrets" by Datkid and Dee Green. No slow-motion in this video, but, they are from Bristol, which is fucking awesome.

The original Seven Music Videos with Slow Motion Scenes can be found here.

Ten Animated Videos Part IV

1. Flume f. Ghostface Killah and Autre Ne Veut - "Space Cadet" 2014  Yes dude, Ghostface Killah cartoon. The song is just aight though, even with the interesting artist trio.

2. Atoms For Peace - "Default" 2012  I'll try to draw this on graph paper and get back to you.

3. Dudley Perkins (AKA Declaime) - "Lung Specialist" 2014  This video has Rotating Heads, I love that shit. Ten more rotating heads coming soon.

4. The MC Type - "Murder Mystery" 2013 (SEATTLE MUSIC) Type's "My Girlfriend Beats Me" with Grieves appears on Ten Music Videos featuring Seattle from March 2013. Animation by Graves 33.

5. Captain Murphy - "Cosplay" 2014  Flying Lotus will likely be performing some Captain Murphy songs at his show at The Neptune Theater on November 18 with Thundercat. His "Birth Of Captain Murphy" video recently appeared on Ten Great Non-Music Videos.

6. Bishop Nehru - "You Stressin'" 2014 (Produced by Disclosure)  Bishop Nehru has worked with all of your favorite producers and he's only 19!

7. Radiohead - "2+2=5" 2003  This is one of my favorite tracks from Hail To The Thief. I do love "There, There" more.

8. Pete Cannon + Dr Syntax feat. Jehst + Del The Funky Homosapien - "Do What We Wanna Do" 2014  Let's bring Jehst to Seattle, then we can build a UK/Seattle bridge.

9. Raz Simone - "Bow Down" 2014  (SEATTLE MUSIC)  This is pretty pro-style for a Seattle artist. I think he's making some great moves with his promotion, but I don't listen to his breathy raps for fun; yet.

10. FKA Twigs - "How's That" 2013  She certainly has wow factor, doesn't she.

The first, second, and third lists of animated videos can be found in the links provided. There's even a list of partially animated videos here.

Ten Great Non-Music Videos

1. Ten Hundred - "Reincarnated" 2014  It's great to see P Smoov working so hard for his art. I also love how well he and his lady collaborate on her fashion website, The Damsel In The Dress.

2. Bob Burnquist - "Dreamland" 2013  It's really too bad the music sucks because this is a rad video. Shoulda went with Wu-Tang.

3. Hangin Tuff! Episode #4 Featuring La Luz - 2014  Bobbi Rich kills it with her Hangin Tuff series and La Luz are some of Seattle's most talented and interesting musicians.

4. 7 Slaps In The Sack Episode 1: Gifted Gab 2014   It's great seeing people put their ideas into action, like Miss Casey Carter, Gifted Gab, and Carrick Wenke.

5. The Sand Animation of Kseniya Simonova from Ukraine's Got Talent 2009  Hats off to this lady for getting way outside of the sandbox with her art.

6. MF Doom Lecture from Madrid - 2011  One hour and 39 minutes of Doom!

7. DJ Shadow + Quannum MCs Live on Radio 1 Breezeblock 2003  I have this recorded to minidisc if anyone needs to borrow it. One of the founding members of Quannum Projects, DJ Shadow, will be here in Seattle on October 8 with Cut Chemist to play the Renegades of Rhythm Tour at The Neptune Theater. It's the same night as our ReignCity Yasiin Bey/ Mos Def show at The Showbox. What a rad dilemma.

8. Flying Lotus - "The Birth Of Captain Murphy" 2014  There is currently a petition circling to get the birth of Flying Lotus' alter-ego turned into a series.

9. Drunk History - "Sylvia Robinson Creates A Rap Group" 2014  A teaser for the best Drunk History ever about the making of "Rapper's Delight."

10. Inside Bjork 2003  She's got a lot of "quirk." I will hopefully be attending her Biophilia Tour November 1 at The Neptune Theater.

Ten Music Video featuring Vinyl

1. Gensu Dean feat. Large Professor - "Forever" 2013  That is a stellar stack of records. Hip Hop education training video taught by Large Professor.

2. DJ Krush feat. Esthero - "Final Home" 1999  DJ Krush remains to be one of my (many) favorite artists. Code 4109 is my shit.

3. 14KT - "Blessed" 2012  So many of these Mello Music Group songs/artists are almost there, but,  not there yet. I'm still listening because I know they are on the right track.

4. Sandpeople - "Roll Call" 2007  Some Portland shit. I would love to know the name of this record store and if it's still open because I'm all over it.

5. Akua Naru - "The Backflip" (prod. by Drumkidz + Christian Nink) - 2010  Akua Naru is about traveling around the world, fusing her own style of hip hop with the music she finds along her way; that's fucking awesome.

6. Araless - "Attention" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) Produced by Goldenbeets. Keep an eye out for Araless and the rest of Filthy Fingers United, I will be sure to keep you posted.

7. Statik Selektah feat. Joey Bada$$ + Freddie Gibbs - "Carry On" 2014  The casual yet orchestrated entrance of Joey Bada$$ and Freddie Gibbs reminds me of Kendrick's entrance in "Nosetalgia" (at 1:30) with Pusha T. I love that shit.

8. Showbiz + A.G. - "Soul Clap" 1992  Fat Joe be like, "can I get a Soul Clap?"

9. Slimkid3 + DJ Nu-Mark - "Bom Bom Fiya" 2014  These guys have been making great music for more than 20 years, the pattern continues.

10. Def Dee feat. El Da Sensei - "Yeah" 2014  Def Dee pays homage to vinyl in the latest video from his new release, "Deja Vu."

Ten Smoky Music Videos

1. Slimkid3 + DJ Nu-Mark - "I Know, Didn't I" 2014  This instantly became one of my new favorite songs, their new self-titled album was released on Delicious Vinyl today.

2. The Jets - "You Got It All" 1986  I finally forgave my sisters for cutting up the cover art from my Jets tape to use as a Barbie poster. It's initiation of dream sequence smoke.

3. Nemo Achida - "Big Lights, Deep Shades" 2011  I have yet to love any other Nemo Achida song.

4. Method Man and Redman - "How High" 1995  This is from The Show Soundtrack, not the great movie with the same name. My team at ReignCity has a Method Man + Redman show at The Showbox on November 3.

5. Cypress Hill feat Method Man and Redman - "Cisco Kid" 2001  This one IS from the great movie How High starring Method Man and Redman. B-Real of Cypress Hill will also be at the Method Man + Redman show at The Showbox.

6. Taco - "Puttin' On The Ritz" 1982  Seems crazy that someone would put Blackface in their video in the eighties, this is the original uncensored version that still contains the ugly stuff. Great song though.

7. Raury - "God's Whisper" 2014  Fun with smoke bombs, this is yet another Pigeons + Planes find.

8. Harry Clean feat. Dave B, JusMoni, YK Ari- "For The Love" 2014  (SEATTLE MUSIC)  I like the short film style of this one by Seattle's Detooz Films, they are constantly progressing, which is awesome. Plus, there's Barney and 2Pac.

9. Ron Contour + Factor - "Wondrous Things" 2012  The smoke is for the bees man, this video is very "Smashing Pumpkins - 1979."

10. Pyramid Vritra - "Eleven12" 2014  One of the latest Stones Throw finds.

Two Great Songs Titled "Pistols At Dawn"

1. Diogenes feat. Barfly - "Pistols At Dawn" 2014 (SEATTLE MUSIC) *Diogenes is one of the founding members of Filthy Fingers United. FFU currently has 30+ producers throughout the US. They've been releasing themed monthly compilations for the last year, available on their Bandcamp page and you should totally fux with them.

2. Seinabo Sey - "Pistols At Dawn" 2014  *This rad Swedish lady has released only 3 songs and they are all amazing, previously done by Jai Paul with his 2 epic songs. Her two videos will appear someday in this website but they are waiting in the 80+ lists I have currently under construction.

P.S. Diogenes did it first

Ten Music Videos with Special Effects Part IV

1. FKA Twigs - "Two Weeks" 2014  *She has golden Oompa Loompas, already.

2. Def Dee x Alca - "Ultra Violet" 2014  *My favorite Def Dee song is still "Different Than The Next Block" off of his collaboration with La, Gravity.

3. Arcade Fire - "You Already Know" 2014  *This is some Harry Potter shit.

4. Mndsgn - "TXT (MSGS)" 2014  *Mndsgn is one of the newest Stones Throw artists, I posted his "Inedia" EP on ReignCity back in January and the video for "Hiking / Fif Dim" last December.

5. Rey Pila - "Alexander" 2014  *This video also has candles, street-walking, fur, mirrors, personal grooming, cats, and money.

6. Marian Hill - "Lovit" 2014  *Eyelids on eyelids would likely be terrifying in real life.

7. Atoms For Peace - "Before Your Very Eyes" 2013  *I wonder if this is what it feels like to be Thom Yorke.

8. Captain Murphy - "Duality" 2012 *On November 18 in Seattle, music lovers have been presented with a dilemma. Do you go see Flying Lotus (Captain Murphy) at The Neptune Theater or FKA Twigs at The Showbox?

*Original Video Deleted By Creator But This One Is Coo Too

9. FKA Twigs - "Tw-ache" 2014  *I don't know if he should be touching her there right now, she's got a tw-ache. That said, I will most likely see FKA Twigs over Flying Lotus (see dilemma above in #8).

10. Banoffee - "Got It" 2014  *The Australian artist Banoffee appeared earlier this year on Ten Music Videos with Musicians Sitting On The Job.

*** This is the fourth collection of Special Effects videos. The first, second, and third installments can be found right back there.
